Anti-stress effect of Albit promotes plant resistance to overwetting and underflooding.

Interesting results were observed in 2011 (farm Mayak, Chernigovskaya oblast, Ukraine). For a long period, water had been observed on the maize fields. Albit had growth-stimulating effect on unsubmerged fields: yield was increased from 7.4 t/hà (in variant with Albit + herbicide, control – pure herbicide) to 8.51 t/hà (yield increase 15%). Efficacy of Albit was more visible on flooded fields. After submergence, yield of fields treated with Albit decreased slightly (by 10%), but yield of fields without Albit treatment decreased almost in 2 times (down to 3.0-3.7 t/hà). Harvest was almost fully saved due to Albit application.

In 2013 (farm Sunbelt, state Georgia, USA), maize fields treated with Albit were in the conditions of overwetting due to severe rainfalls. However, control fields were located on dry areas. In spite of that, yield of maize on this plot was even higher than in control by 1% (11.55 t/hà).

Farmers from China appreciate Albit because it is the only bioproduct that increases plant resistance to flood stress.

In 2009 (Tver' oblast), weather conditions were unfavourable for flax growing: in May and June after a long period of rainfalls, soil was over-watered, water stagnation on fields was observed. Under these extremely conditions, Albit allowed to obtain yield 2.7 times higher than in control (seeds – 0.54 t/hà vs. 0.2 t/hà in control, straw – 5.95 t/hà vs. 2.14 t/hà in control) in farm Maslovo (Torzhok region).

Field of cereals after severe rainfall (Vologda oblast, July, 2017)

The same results were observed in variants with Albit application on cereal crops and flax in the northern regions (Vologda, Kirov, Kostroma, Tver', Pskov oblasts, Krasnoyarsk krai, Finland, Estonia). Also, in this regards, the ability of Albit to accelerate of plant development is essential for plants allowing them to form crop before autumn rains.
