Scientific and production enterprise of Albit LLC

Albit LLC was founded in 1992 by scientists from the Biological Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Pushchino, Moscow oblast. Our staff was founded by famous scientist Dr. Kirill Zlotnikov, one of the first researchers who had been reviving Russian genetics after Lysenkoism. Dr. Zlotnikov was a pioneer in biological nitrogen fixation research in the USSR.

Currently, Albit LLC is a rapidly developing small innovative enterprise. The company is located in Pushchino, the first town on the Earth specifically built for scientific research, where science is a primary occupation of residents. Our company employs a small, friendly team of highly qualified specialists, including 20 Bachelors and Certified Specialists, 4 Master's degree holders, and 6 Ph.D.s/Candidates and Doctors of Sciences.

Albit LLC manufactures and sells biological product Albit based on metabolites of soil bacteria. Albit protects agricultural crops from toxic effects of pesticides, heat, drought, soil contamination, and other stress factors. It also allows to reduce the application rate of pesticides, obtain environmentally friendly produce, and significantly increase crop yield.

Product Albit is manufactured on modern fermentation equipment with using a unique technology. Albit is protected by patents “Antidote composition of biologically origin for use in crop production” and “Product for yield increase and protection of plants against phytopathogens.” Our company owns 22 patents and trademarks.

Albit is one of the few developments of Russian scientists that successfully competes with similar products not only in Russia but also abroad. It is successfully used by farmers from Germany and Switzerland to Primorsky Krai and China, and from the Arkhangel'sk Region to Krasnodar Krai and Ecuador.

Over more than 20 years, a broad distribution network has been developed across 50+ regions of Russia, and 25+ foreign countries. Both small family farms and major agricultural holdings apply Albit for crop production. Albit and its manufacturing process have the highest degree of harmlessness and environmental friendliness, making the company one of the few examples of a ‘green innovation economy’ in Russia.

Our company had also developed and manufactures Albit-BR (BioRemediant) for remediation and fertility soil. Albit-BR is certified for use in organic farming.

Albit LLC is not only a manufacturing company, but also scientific research organization. In addition to production, one of our highest priorities is development of new biotechnologies for greening agriculture. We conduct collaborative research with scientific institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, agricultural research institutions, and leading universities of Russia (more than 80 institutions).
